Quinoa, garlic pan-seared tofu, and kale bowl

This is an absolute delicious, nutritiously dense bowl of goodness❤️ I’m not much of a tofu person but this recipe and the way the tofu is prepared is divine!
Ingredients:
Cooked quinoa (I used white quinoa, but any will work)
1/2 a block of extra-firm tofu *
Garlic powder
Olive oil
Kale
Sesame oil
Salt
Pepper
*make sure to have pressed the tofu. This is done by rinse it under cold water, drying it, wrapping it in a tea towel, and then lastly placing some heavy items such as books on top of the tea towel wrapped tofu. This is an essential step in preparing clean, delicious tofu.
Directions:
1.Cut tofu into cubes.
2. Heat olive oil or choice of oil on stove. Add a splash of water.
3. Season the tofu with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a little olive oil.
4. Put the tofu onto the pan. Flip when golden. Once it is cooked, put it to the side.
5. Heat a dash of sesame oil on stove.
6. Place the kale in the pan and sauté until wilted.
7. It’s now serving time! Add the quinoa, tofu, and veggies to your plate. Enjoy!
